Fabíola Andréa Silva
She holds a bachelor's degree in History from the Vale do Rio dos Sinos University (1988), a Master's degree in Social Anthropology from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (1992), a PhD in Social Anthropology from the University of São Paulo (2000), and a PhD in Archeology from the University of São Paulo (2002). Silva is currently a professor and researcher at the Museum of Archeology and Ethnology at the University of São Paulo. She works in the areas of Archeology and Anthropology, with emphasis on Collaborative Archeology, Ethnoarchaeology, Indigenous Ethnology and Anthropology of Objects and Technology. Her scientific production is dedicated to the following subjects: Material Culture, Formation of the Archaeological Record, Curating of Indigenous Collections, Archeology in Indigenous Land. Since the 1990s she has carried out ethnographic and ethno-archaeological research with different indigenous peoples (Kaingang, Xingu Asurini, Kayapó-Xikrin, Terena, Kayabi). |
