Fausto Roberto Poço Viana
Professor Viana holds a bachelor's degree in Performing Arts with a degree in Set Design (1992) from the Department of Performing Arts of the University of São Paulo (CAC / ECA-USP). He holds a Masters in Arts (2000), and in Textiles and Fashion (2015) from the University of São Paulo. His first doctorate was in Performing Arts from the University of São Paulo (2004) and the second in Museology by the Lusófona University of Humanities and Technology (2010). His first postdoctoral degree has been obtained in Textile Conservation from the National Costume Museum in Lisbon, and the second in Fashion from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro. Viana is currently a full professor at the University of São Paulo. He has experience in the area of Arts and Museology, working mainly in the following subjects: theater, costumes, characterization, scenography, conservation and restoration of costumes. He is an associate of the Paulista Theater Cooperative, of the International Organisation of Scenographers, Theatre Architects and Technicians (OISTAT), of the Brazilian Association for Fashion Studies and Research (ABEPEM), and of the Association of Dress Historians. |
