Research groups
Research groups bring together members formally organized for the development of an interdisciplinary project for a determined period. They can be proposed by professors from USP, and by professors and members affiliated to other academic institutions of recognized merit.
Group coordinators are expected to hold a productivity scholarhip equivalent to the level 1 of the National Council for Scientific and Technological Development (CNPq), which ranks and categorizes productive scientists to support their investigations.
Information on how to submit a project can be found here (Portuguese only) or by sending a message to Richard Meckien (rkmeckien@usp.br).
