Bachelor (2013) and Master (2017) in Computer Science from USP's Institute of Mathematics and Statistics. He has been in the gaming field since 2009, when he helped founding USPGameDev, an interdisciplinary extension group for research in game development at USP, which is managed and composed mainly by undergraduate students. In addition to having participated in the complete development of a Game Engine and at least six independent games, Mizutani was also organizer of the Second Free Software Week of USP and the fifth edition of USP's headquarters of Global Game Jam. As a participant of USPGameDev, he gave lectures and workshops at USP (IME, EP and EACH), UNICAMP and Campus Party. During his master's project, he proposed, developed and validated a real-time soundtrack middleware for digital games called VORPAL. |
